How to use the pass
Similar to the Japan Rail Pass, using the Hakone Free Pass is as simple as showing the station attendant, or bus driver your pass, and getting on board. Passes are valid on a calendar day basis, not time based. This means that you can use your pass from the moment you receive you pass, until the your last day with the pass.
