Mt. Inasayama, located near the city center of Nagasaki – Nagasaki Prefecture, is a scenic mountain viewing area, offering one of the top three best night views in Japan. Mt. While the park is open around the clock, the Nagasaki Ropeway stops service at 10:00pm, and the restaurant closes at that time as well. You are more than welcome to use the outdoor observation deck after hours, but you will need to careful when heading down the mountain.

Accessing Mt.Inasayama

The starting station for the Nagasaki Ropeway is at Fuchi Shrine. From Nagasaki Station to Fuchi Shrine Station, you will need to depart Nagasaki Station on the street car for two stops along the Nagasaki Denki No.1 line (Local Akasako) to Takaramachi Station. From there, Walk to traffic lights, make a left and head towards the bridge. Cross over the river and take the first right immediately after crossing the bridge. Continue on that road and when you get to the end of the baseball field, take a left, then take the next right, and you will be at the Fuchi Shrine Station.
