Uozu Mirage Land, in the city of Uozu, Toyama, is a small amusement park which sits on the shore of Toyama Bay.
If you’re after a family-friendly fun place to spend a couple hours and keep your kids happy, then Uozu Mirage land is the perfect place for you. There is no entry to the amusement park itself, but the rides will cost tickets, which are purchased for 150JPY for 1 or 11 tickets for 1500JPY. There is a further discount the more tickets you purchase, and some rides require multiple tickets.
Some of the notable rides at Mirage land are; The Giant Ferris wheel, a Merry-go-round, A large, 3 dimensional maze consisting of 5 layers, and many more.
The Uozu Mirage land is quite popular among Japanese tourists, as the Giant Ferris wheel is one of the places visitors can view one of the local phenomena – the mirages of Toyama bay, which are seen from Winter to Spring.
All and all, the Uozu Mirage land is a great place to visit if you have a young family as there are plenty of activities which will entertain the kids for hours.

The Uozo Mirage land can be found a short 15 minute walk from Nishi-Uozu Station.
You can get to Nishi-Uozu station from Toyama Station quite easily, taking approximately 30 or so minutes.
English
